Privacy and device storage
What NAICS University stores in your browser, what is sent, and how to manage your saved information.
Current prototype
No account login, payment, analytics service, or advertising script is active in this prototype. The app requests its own public research files. Business context and practice answers are not sent to an AI provider by this app. Publisher contact email: to be added before public launch.
Information saved on this device
Local browser storage can hold search preferences, the banner preference, comparison context and saved briefs, test progress, results, a display name or review entered for local scores, and correction drafts. These are device-local features, not a public leaderboard or shared database. Do not enter confidential insured information into educational scenarios.
Managing saved information
Clear NAICS University device data using the button below. This removes only this tool’s known storage keys and cannot be undone. You can also use your browser’s site-data controls. Download anything you want to retain before clearing it.
Email drafts and downloads
Emailing test results opens your email application with a draft. You choose whether to send it; the app does not send email itself. Downloads are created on your device. Question and general correction forms currently save drafts locally and do not deliver them.
External services and links
The stylesheet loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser contacts Google to request them. External Census and other source links take you to sites with their own privacy practices. A future public hosting provider may process request information, such as IP addresses and server logs, according to its configuration and policies.
Advertising before activation
If Google AdSense is introduced, this policy must identify active vendors and explain cookies and related identifiers used for ad serving, measurement, and personalization. Google and partners may use these technologies when ads are active. Advertising consent controls and applicable Google-certified consent management must be configured before ad requests are enabled. No advertising consent is being collected by this prototype.
Privacy contact
A public contact inbox is not configured yet. The Contact page can prepare a local draft; it does not submit a privacy request. Publisher identity, contact details, hosting retention, and any active advertising or analytics disclosures must be completed before public launch.
