Editorial policy and corrections

How NAICS University distinguishes references, research drafts, automated findings, and educational answers.

Our purpose

We organize business-activity references and educational insurance research for agents. Search, comparison, and practice stay free. We do not sell policies, bind coverage, or represent a carrier’s appetite.

Evidence and attribution

Classification checks use U.S. Census sources. Insurance profiles and saved relationship notes remain research drafts until an actual reviewer has checked the claims. Automated comparison findings are labeled and show the evidence available. Source links support the specific classification reference; they do not imply Census endorsement of insurance advice.

Human review before a verified label

A completed review must identify the reviewer, the scope of the check, supporting sources, unresolved issues, and the actual completion date. We do not publish invented credentials, endorsements, or review dates. Tests can be edited by humans; planned review is not completed review.

Corrections and contributions

Use the question feedback option for a test item, or prepare a correction draft on the Contact page. Include the code or question number, the issue, and a supporting source. Drafts are stored on your device until a delivery service is configured. Future public contributions must be reviewed before publication.

Advertising and independence

Advertising is not active in this prototype. Future ads must be clearly marked Advertisement and kept separate from navigation, answer choices, downloads, and feedback forms. Unreviewed research and private workflows remain on an advertising hold. An advertiser would not determine classifications or test answers.
